Foster, Adoption & Kinship Care
You must be at least 18 years of age to be an approved foster or adoptive parent. The process is the same to obtain a foster care license or an adoptive license. These can be done in conjunction with one another. Kinship Care
Sometimes relatives or family friends care for children when their parents are unable to care for them. Kinship care can occur with or without child welfare agency involvement. To learn more about the services available for kinship caregivers, click on the above link.
